Our physicians and nurses are well versed in pain and symptom management. It is our goal to keep our patients as pain and symptom free and as alert as possible. Main Street Hospice staff realize the importance of appropriate timely response in responding to our patients’ needs. Professional staff are available to make home visits and to address patient/family and caregiver needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Medical Social Services & Counseling
Main Street Hospice provides appropriate social work intervention and spiritual support in accordance with the needs of the patient and family and their acceptance of these services. We also provide nutritional counseling as needed.
Bereavement Support
Main Street Hospice realizes the detriment of loss for our patients’ families and caregivers, staff and volunteers, facility staff and others experiencing loss in our community. We offer an organized bereavement support program for all those in need.
Medications, Supplies, Equipment, Therapy
Related to the terminal diagnosis and according to the patient’s plan of care.
Hospice Aides
Qualified Aides who are supervised by the registered nurse to provide personal care, housekeeping and help with activities of daily living.
